Omar Nounou

I graduated in 2010 from the German University in Cairo majoring in Electronics Engineering. I worked in the Telecom business for 8 months then I moved to P&G where I have been working for 4 years. I started as a Process Engineer in Cairo Plant Bar Soap Operations for 7 months, then I moved to Cairo Plant Engineering where I was the Projects Manager for 2.5 years for Dry Laundry Making and Bar Soap. Then I had a 4 months special assignment in Cairo Plant HR, and now I have been working as MEA Dry Laundry MPD Packaging Leader for 9 months where I am currently leading the cost savings program in MEA and I am also the Carton Technology leader in EMEA and I am managing a capability building program globally. In my current role, I get to do a good mix of project management, technical challenges, and capability building where I get to deal with many different functions from different parts of the world. I really like working in P&G’s dynamic and challenging work environment where you get to have a rapid learning curve and literally learn something new every day. The amount of responsibilities that you take from the early start of your career in P&G is engaging and builds your character and expertise in many different aspects
